De Vos on what makes a good judge

Check out this interesting link for Prof De Vos' view of what a judge in South Africa should look like. I am not entirely sold but will put up a post later today with my own views.

    I wasn't sold either. In fact I found his views a bit alarming.

    I like De Vos' idea of "transformation of the judiciary"...In my view transformation will not occur unless its done from its roots and by that i mean tranforming University Law Schools i.e UCT.
    If his is so concerned about transformation then I trust he will be an instrument at UCT.
